Whole School Lead for Innovation and the UAE National Agenda
I am thrilled to be part of the new GEMS Cambridge School. This will be my sixth year with GEMS, after moving to the UAE in 2014. This year I will not only be a class teacher but also take on a whole school role in leading Innovation and the UAE National Agenda.
I am now in my eighteenth year of teaching and my sixth year of teaching in the UAE. I graduated from Delhi University, completed my Bachelors in Education and Early Childhood Care and Education. I have also successfully completed IPGCPP from Liverpool Hope University, UK. I have taught at Venkateshwar International School in New Delhi, India for 12 years before making the huge decision to move over to Abu Dhabi to work with GEMS.
As a class teacher, I endeavour to inspire my students whilst providing them with a fun and engaging yet challenging school experience. Fundamentally, I want the children in my classroom to be confident, compassionate and high achieving individuals. I look forward to building trusting relationships with the rest of the GEMS team, parents and most importantly the children as to provide the best learning opportunities for them.
I am extremely excited to begin my new adventure, teaching at GEMS Cambridge Sharjah this year. This is going to be a fantastic year of new experiences for all of us. I am looking forward to getting to know your children both as learners and as the little ‘Gems’ that they are!
