Head of Arabic and Islamic Studies
Ms.Walaa’s passion to teach started when she was a child, she particularly loved learning about the Arabic language. She studied Arabic literature at Cairo university and then began her teaching career in Egypt. Moving to the UAE was an exciting challenge for her, as she started her journey as an Arabic teacher but was quickly promoted to take on the post of Head of the Arabic department in GEMS Winchester Fujairah.
Walaa is delighted and feels privileged to be the Head of MOE subjects at GEMS Cambridge International Private School Sharjah. Her vision is to build the strongest MOE department in Sharjah by working closely with all stakeholders and ensuring that she leads her team in providing the best opportunities for all GCS students.
