Lisa Latham

I am Lisa Latham and I am delighted to be an Assistant Head of Primary at GCS. Since joining GEMS Education in 2013, I have been a Class Teacher, Head of Year and Science Curriculum Coordinator. As Assistant Head, my responsibilities include; Teaching and Learning, Assessment and Staff Professional Development.

I grew up in Liverpool, UK which is the home of many greats including The Beatles, 2 Football Clubs and Mo Salah! I undertook my teacher training at the University of Liverpool, and since qualifying as a Teacher, have taught in both local and international locations throughout the world. I have taught both KS1 and KS2 and also have a further degree in Sport Studies and Psychology, particularly with a passion for Child Psychology.

Within my role, I am committed to supporting all staff to ensure outstanding teaching and learning standards that enable your child to reach their potential.  I am extremely passionate about the deep and enriching learning opportunities that students access through our diverse curriculum and ensuring that students are equipped with the skills and attributes required to be successful and fulfilled in life.

As a leader, the ethos and environment in which your child learns is of the upmost importance to me and I am passionate about ensuring all students are safe and happy at GCS.
