Siobhan Doyle

EYFS and Key Stage 1 Design Thinking Lead Practitioner

My name is Siobhan Doyle and I am the Design Thinking Lead Practitioner responsible for EYFS and Year 1 at GCS. I have been teaching for GEMS Education for the past three years. Before moving to the UAE, I taught at a values-based hub school in North London where I was fortunate to work in both the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. I love working here at GCS, the children and build relationships with our families.

I began my journey as an educator at the University of Cumbria where I studied my undergraduate degree in Primary Education with a specialism in Early Years. I am deeply passionate about Early Childhood Education and ensuring we offer our youngest learners a broad and balanced curriculum with an emphasis on child development and in particular their communication and social skills.

I am currently studying for a Masters degree in Inclusion. The success of all students is extremely important to me and this is why I made the decision to undertake a Masters Degree. It is my mission to use my extensive knowledge of inclusive education to provide a safe secure and happy place for all children to learn and thrive at GCS.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, I will have the pleasure of mentoring and supporting our GCS teachers ensuring as a school we are constantly and consistently moving forward and providing the children of GCS with a world class education.
