Sara Abdelmoniem

I am delighted to introduce myself as the Head of MOE at GCS. In the past, as an Arabic teacher, I’ve been incredibly passionate about the innovative and co-constructive teaching and learning strategies. With a Bachelor’s in education (Arabic and Islamic studies) and a Diploma in Educational leadership from AUC, I have worked as an Arabic A, B and Islamic teacher in some premium schools in the UAE. My aim has always been to inspire my students to have a love for learning Arabic, a sense of their place in the world, and a commitment to personal integrity.

With over 14 years of teaching experience, I am now the Head of MOE subjects, focusing on improving Arabic, Islamic and Social Studies provision across the school. I have a passion for learning and self-development which I would like to inculcate in the staff and students at GCS. I acquired a life coaching certificate and love to sing in my spare time. I am also an avid reader.
