Assistant Head Teacher (Secondary) - Curriculum

I am proud to serve as the Assistant Headteacher for Secondary at GEMS Cambridge International Private School, Sharjah (GCS). My journey in education began in India, where I completed my degree in Physics and Mathematics along with my B.Ed. Since moving to the UAE over 25 years ago, I have been dedicated to teaching and leading in British curriculum schools, always striving to make learning inspiring and meaningful for students.

Believing that learning never stops, I have continued to grow professionally. I earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership from the University of Leicester, UK, and I am currently pursuing the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL). These experiences have strengthened my vision for education—where every child has access to a curriculum that not only meets academic goals but also equips them with skills for life.

My career has taken me from teaching Science and Mathematics in Years 7 to 9, to IGCSE and A-Level Physics teacher, and later leading the Science Department at GCS.

In my current role, I work closely with all departments to ensure our curriculum is inclusive, accessible, and designed to prepare students for success in their future pathways. My goal is simple: to help every student at GCS reach their full potential and leave school confident, capable, and ready for the challenges ahead.
